Off-Piste Ski / Snowboard Gear Needed on Our Freeride Tours
Unlike with TRANSALP RIDERS' mountain bike tours, there is no real secret to the equipment you'll need for our ski weeks.
Clothing: Pack both light and warm garments to be equipped for whatever weather comes our way (our out-of-bounds resort destinations have less of a continental climate than the Rockies but offer skiing at similar elevations). We assume that - as an accomplished and experienced off-piste skier - your upper and lower shells will be of appropriate quality and you'll carry a 27-35 liter daypack.
Ski Equipment: Bring your own poles and ski boots. Our partnering operator VIVALPIN will supply top-quality test skis with AT bindings / skins as part of the tour price.
Safety Equipment: Bring your own helmet, but our partnering operator VIVALPIN will provide for avalanche beacon, probe, shovel, harness (where applicable).
