Monte rosa Heli High
The Monte Rosa is not just another great skier’s mountain – it is several of them linked (including Zermatt) and has long served as our secret stash of pow and perfect lines. One of the best out-of-bounds destinations in the Alps, this spectacular massif has yet to receive some hype abroad. The 2006 Winter Olympics in nearby Torino may just do that.
It’s choice not for precipitous drops but for perfect off-piste terrain and huge vertical. Three heli drops afford you astonishing 7,000 ft. descents and even a loop around the entire mountain range in a single, long day. For connoisseurs of perfect off-piste and heli terrain like in Canada, Monte Rosa delivers - big time.
