What’s Included
- Your transportation needs from the moment we meet you until we split at the final tour destination (includes chair lift, cable car, bus, boat, rail, heli - where applicable).
- Guide services of 1 or 2 multi-lingual, accredited tour leaders (depending on group size).
- Accommodations in **-*** hotels, B&Bs or mountain inns each day you’re on tour with us (except the final day). Select tours overnight at high elevation inns where rooms + bath facilities may have to be shared occasionally.
- All breakfasts and lunches (typical of regional custom, flavor and style.
- All dinners (including salad, main course, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.
- Gratuities at inns & restaurants, local taxes and admittance fees for all scheduled events.
- Technical TRANSALP RIDERS team jersey on MTB tours (take a peek at ‘New Gear’ on our website).
- Frequent Rider Credit (5% off your next Transalp Riders tour within the next three years)
- Prep. guide with infos on how to get ready for your tour, what to bring, directions to and from the respective tour destinations, recommendations where to stay or eat pre- and post-tour, list of emergency phone numbers, etc.
- MTB Tours ONLY: Panoramic map of the Alps and the course of your TRANSALP tour.
- MTB Tours only: SIXTUS lotions and tonics for skin management.
- SKI Weeks ONLY: rental of test skis with alpine touring (AT) bindings and skins, avalanche beacons, shovel & probe.

What’s Not Included
- Your air fare or ground transportation to or from our meeting or departure points; (however, we’ll do our best to help you arranging for tour transfer needs), medical evacuations.
- Accommodations the night of the last day we’re on tour (many guests depart home immediately or choose to travel on to other destinations).
- Single occupancy of your tour accommodations (can be arranged at an additional premium when and wherever possible).
- Snacks or beverages while on the trail (between regular meals). Your guides will gladly point out when and where to stock up for each day).
- Alcoholic beverages in the context of lunches or dinners are at the discretion of our guests.
- Storage fees for additional travel bags that you may wish to leave at our meeting destinations (we’ll gladly help you arrange for storage).
- MTB tours ONLY: Personal MTB equipment, such as helmets, daypacks or the mountain bike itself (we’ll gladly help arranging rental gear through reputable bike stores).
- SKI weeks ONLY: personal Ski equipment, such as helmets, clothing, ski boots, poles,
- Guide tips as a gesture of appreciation for the commitment of your guide to your well being and overall enjoyment on tour. Our guests each express their satisfaction with a gratuity of €6.- per day.
